Justin Timberlake and Timbaland are teaming up again to make some awesome music! They have a new single coming out on September 1, and they're not just stopping there. They're also going to be on your TV!
ESPN just announced that Justin Timberlake and Timbaland will be in charge of picking the music for some Monday Night Football games. This means that during the games, you'll hear their cool music playing in the background. They'll also use their music in commercials and before the games start. This will happen for seven weeks during the 2023-24 season.
The first song you'll hear from them is a collaboration with Nelly Furtado called "Keep Goin' Up." It will be featured in a commercial for the first Monday Night Football game of the season, which is between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets.
Here's the schedule for when Justin Timberlake and Timbaland will be curating the music:
Week 1: Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets
Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Week 11: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Week 16: Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers
Week 18 Doubleheader: To be determined
Wild Card Round (Playoffs): To be determined
Divisional Round (Playoffs): To be determined
Curtis Friends, who works at ESPN, said, "We've had some really cool artists like Diplo, DJ Khaled, Drake, and Marshmello curate music for us in the past. But this time, we have two amazing curators in Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. We know they'll get us all pumped up for this NFL football season!"
