September is turning out to be a hectic yet exciting month for Justin Timberlake. Following his recent collaboration on the song "Keep Going Up" with Nelly Furtado and Timbaland, and reuniting with his band *NSYNC for a new song, the pop star is now gearing up for a new venture — the opening of his sports bar and restaurant, T-Squared Social, in New York City's renowned Times Square.
The much-anticipated T-Squared Social, a joint venture with golf legend Tiger Woods, is set to welcome patrons on Wednesday, September 20. Nestled strategically between Bryant Park and Grand Central Station at 7 East 42nd Street, the sports bar promises an experience that is both comfortable and high-quality, stepping away from the typical sports bar ambiance.
Golf enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to, given the remarkable features the space houses — including four state-of-the-art Full Swing Simulators, golf clubs available for rent, and custom golf bags adorned with the names of the two legends behind the venture. The golf-themed haven was born from a concept Timberlake and Woods conceptualized during a golfing session in The Bahamas.
But it's not all about golf; T-Squared Social aims to offer something for everyone. Patrons can engage in a game of darts, or enjoy duckpin bowling, characterized by no-shoe-requirements and shorter lanes. For sports fanatics, the place hosts over 35 television screens, including New York City's largest flat-screen TV, a massive 200-inch marvel, ensuring an immersive sports-watching experience.
The culinary aspect is not left behind, with an extensive menu that features a rich selection of flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches, and salads, accompanied by a well-curated drinks menu and a raw bar to tantalize your taste buds.
In a statement reflecting on this fresh enterprise, Timberlake shared, “It’s a beautiful space that transcends the typical sports bar experience. You can go to be entertained without sacrificing quality or comfort.”
As the launch date approaches, residents and visitors to NYC can look forward to a sports bar that redefines leisure and entertainment, blending an exhilarating sporting experience with fine dining — all conceptualized and brought to life by two icons in their respective fields. The imminent opening of T-Squared Social marks a new chapter in NYC's vibrant entertainment landscape, with a venue that seems set to become the new go-to destination for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike.
